3. A written scope and fixed price. Deliverables counted, exclusions listed, timeline stated. We follow the same scope discipline we recommend to others, because it protects both sides.
4. Build, with checkpoints. You see progress and give consolidated feedback at agreed stages.
5. Handover. Accounts in your name, code and files yours, ownership transferring on final payment.
