This page explains, in plain terms, how Xenith Technologies makes money and what that means when you read a recommendation here. Last updated 27 July 2026.

What we currently earn from

We believe in stating the actual position rather than boilerplate that covers every hypothetical:

If and when we join an affiliate or referral programme, this page will be updated and the relevant links will be marked. We would rather tell you the boring truth than imply relationships that do not exist.

How affiliate links will be identified

When affiliate links are introduced, all of the following will apply:

• A visible disclosure will appear on the page containing them, near the beginning or next to the relevant recommendation, not buried in a footer.
• The links will carry appropriate attributes for search engines, marking them as sponsored and non-following.
• Where a specific programme requires particular wording, that wording will be used verbatim.
• Nothing will be disguised as an ordinary editorial link.

What an affiliate link means for you

An affiliate link means that if you click it and buy something, we may receive a commission from the seller. In almost all cases this does not increase the price you pay, and it never gives us access to your payment details or personal information. The seller pays us; you pay the same as you would otherwise.

You are always free to search for the product directly instead. Our recommendations should be worth reading whether or not you use our links.

Editorial independence

This is the part that matters most, so we will be specific about it:

• Commission, advertising spend, sponsorship, or free access does not buy coverage, inclusion in our shortlist, a ranking position, or a positive conclusion.
• We write about limitations and alternatives even when doing so costs us a commission.
• Where we would not recommend a product to a friend, we do not recommend it here, regardless of what it pays.
• We remove tools from our recommendations when they stop deserving the place, irrespective of commercial arrangements.
• No advertiser or partner reviews our articles before publication.

Advertising and sponsorships

Advertisements are labelled and visually separated from editorial content. We do not sell undisclosed paid links, accept payment to conceal a sponsorship, or publish sponsored articles without marking them as such. Requests to buy an unmarked link or a guest post are declined.

Advertising served through third-party networks may use cookies or similar technologies. That is explained in our privacy policy, along with the choices available to you.

Your responsibility as a reader

Our guides are general information, written at a point in time. Software changes constantly. Before purchasing anything based on something you read here, verify the current price, plan limits, contract terms, renewal cost, taxes, security posture, and suitability directly with the provider. Where a decision has legal, tax, or financial consequences, take advice from a qualified professional.
